Job Overview:
The Mental Health Counselor will support clients through a range of counseling and rehabilitation services, helping those affected by anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief, and other behavioral concerns. With a holistic and caring approach, you will work alongside clients and their families to foster healing, self-growth, and well-being.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling, rehabilitation, and support services.
Actively listen, assess, and observe clients to suggest suitable treatments or refer them to specialists as needed.
Counsel family members to help create a supportive environment for clients.
Offer relationship counseling to couples and assist clients with job or career concerns.
Work with children, adolescents, and adults, including those recovering from substance abuse or managing learning or behavioral issues.
Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers.
